Calaila is a boutique stay situated on a cliffside at North Varkala, Kerala. The brand caters closely to the urban traveller and their needs. Launched just 3 months before the pandemic, the brand that used to appeal to foreign tourists pivoted their entire online strategy to target the local audience.

Using a 3 grid narrative, the central illustration seamlessly merges with the view of Varkala cliff. It consists of two individuals working and relaxing at some of Calaila's spaces. The illustration is dreamy and urges the audience to escape from the walls of their homes and explore a new home in Varkala.
As part of the campaign, Calaila offered various packages to make the stay safe and enjoyable. This included customised food packages, daily fitness regiments and other activities. This went a long way in ensuring that the guests who stayed at the property felt motivated during the pandemic.

Humans of Corona campaign was launched to bring about awareness in social distancing and to educate the local audience on wearing masks during the pandemic. This campaign was made possible through Calaila's collaboration with various influencers in Kerala.

Following the 3 grid system like the previous Workation posts, Calaila opened it's doors to a new kind of Workation. One that focussed on healing through balancing mind through yoga and music. Adding to the new kind of workation, Calaila also partnered with several Kayak and Surfing partners to give their guests a much needed relaxed stay.
